Bandung Tourist Attraction: De’ Ranch

Bandung tourism industry is a thriving one, and why shouldn’t it? Many reasons can be stated as to why people flock to Bandung from all sorts of places: although perhaps one can be classified as the more important one: the variety of exciting Bandung tourist attractions that anyone and everyone can enjoy. You are looking for a place to enjoy a good dining? Bandung has them plenty. Looking for a good Bandung shopping experience? Just come to this city and not a moment too soon you will see a place to shop, guaranteed.

Do you want to ride a horse while whirling your lasso around in an open plain while enjoying the coolness of refreshing air and clear skies like a cowboy? You can.

Like this.

Wait, what, are we sure that you can do it? Well yes we are pretty sure about it. If you are interested, just come to the De’Ranch in North Bandung… Lembang, to be specific. It is a pretty refreshing alternative from the usual shopping and dining thing people always do during their vacations isn’t it?

Time to do something different for your Bandung vacation

Yes, horse-riding and “cowboy” adventuring, so-to-speak, is the main selling point of this unique Bandung tourist attraction. Guests are invited to enjoy the pleasurable experience of riding a (tamed) horse on a vast green plain under a clear, open sky. Actually you do not have to dress like a cowboy to be able to enjoy it but… you deserve a good stare followed by a loud “What are you thinking?” if you refuse to do it. The atmosphere is already there so it would be a shame for you not to get in the fun (and yes, you can actually rent the cowboy attire from the management.)

Oh, and since not everybody is a John Wayne, the management will of course provide experienced guides/helpers to make sure your horse riding experience is not getting bothered by, say for example, an unfortunate case of falling from a horse.

But it is not just about the horse in this unique Bandung tourist attraction!

KAGUM Hotels Liburan di Bandung De Ranch

Of course, no matter how fun horse riding is, no one can actually ride a horse for many hours straight without feeling of boredom creeping slowly into their minds (well, except for probably John Wayne.) Don’t worry though, since you can also enjoy a variety of fun activities in this place such as fun boat, fishing, ATV, flying fox, track cycling… even stuff that would make you go “huh?” when you hear it for the first time such as circus cycling or trampoline jumping. They even have a number of games and activities with creative sounding names such as The Gold Hunter, Gogo Rides, and Powpow train. Usually funny-sounding names are fun, so you should give them a shot too!

Interested? Just go to Jl. Maribaya no. 17, Lembang. This place is open daily except for Monday. Weekdays the schedule is 9 A.M. to 5 P.M. while on weekends the schedule is 8 A.M. to 6 P.M.
